Petitioner claims to have been appointed as Post Graduate Teacher in Hindi on 13.09.1985. He claims to have passed M.A (Hindi) from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (UP) in First Division in May 2015. He also passed Hindi Pracharak Prashikshan Training in First Class from Dakshin Bharatha Hindi Prachara Sabha, Madras in 1981. He claims to be eligible to be promoted as Post Graduate Teacher in Hindi. Claiming to grant such promotion, petitioner made a representation on 12.5.2016 acknowledged by the respondent Society on the same day. The grievance of the petitioner which necessitates instituting this Writ Petition is that the respondent Society has not acted upon the representation submitted by him and promotion sought for has not been granted.
Since the representation of the petitioner is pending, the Writ Petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on merits directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
