THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT W.P.No.24105 of 2014 Oral Order:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies. The principal complaint of the petitioners is against inaction of the respondents in disposing of the representation dated 4.9.2014 for appointment as Licensed Hawkers in the place of licenses of their respective fathers (deceased) as illegal and unconstitutional.

Learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies submits that the Government issued G.O.Ms.No.4 dated 28.2.2014 enabling consideration of eligible candidates for appointment as licensed hawkers in place of the deceased person.

Having regard to the above submission, the respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation dated 4.9.2013 for appointment as licensee to distribute/sale of kerosene in terms of G.O.Ms.No.4 dated 28.2.2014 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above directions, the writ petition is

disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions if any pending shall stand closed.
