Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development appearing for respondent No.1 and Sri N.Ashok Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC, appearing for respondents 2 and 3. With consent of the counsel appearing for both sides, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

2. The present writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of "Writ of Mandamus" declaring the notice issued to the petitioner by the 3rd respondent dated 09.03.2016 as per Property Tax Special Notice-Revision with respect to property in H.No.8-4-68/4/21, Mailardevpally, Rajendernagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents to collect the Property Tax as per previous rate i.e., Rs.512/- per year."

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the notice dated 09.03.2016, the petitioner raised an objection vide letter dated 24.03.2016 questioning the enhancement of the property tax to Rs.74,456/- per annum with penalty, which may be directed to consider at the earliest.

4. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 2 and 3 submits that the orders would be passed after giving an opportunity of hearing the petitioner.

5. Recording the said statement, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to pass appropriate orders on letter dated 24.03.2016 addressed by the petitioner pursuant to the show cause notice dated 09.03.2016 enhancing the property tax toRs.74,456/- per annum with penalty, as early as possible preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law, after hearing of the petitioner.
