Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.3 and 4 in issuing notice dated 23.09.2016, asking the petitioner to appear before respondent No.4 for physical verification intending to remove her name from the possessory column of total extent of land admeasuring Acs.9.08 guntas in Survey Nos.307/ AA, 307/ E, situated at Munipampala Village, Ramannapeta Mandal, Nalgonda District, during pendency of a civil suit, as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner mainly submits that notice dated 23.09.2016, served on the petitioner directs the petitioner to be present on 28.09.2016 at 11.00 a.m., as the Tahsildar, Ramannapet was personally visiting for physical possession. On 27.09.2016, the son of the petitioner is alleged to have made a representation seeking postponement of the process due to ill-health of the petitioner. It is stated that inspite of the said request, the Tahsildar, Ramannapeta, visited the site for physical verification of the land in question. Learned counsel for the
petitioner submits that it would be appropriate, if the exercise which is undertaken by the Tahsildar may be directed to be done in the presence of the petitioner. The petitioner further undertakes to appear before him either on Friday, Saturday or Monday at 11.00 a.m.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to appear before the Tahsildar-fourth respondent on Saturday i.e., on 22.10.2016 at 11.00 a.m., in which event, the process of enquiry for removing the name of the petitioner from the possessory column in respect of land admeasuring Acs.2.03 guntas in Survey No.307/ AA, Acs.5.05 guntas in Survey No.307/ E and Acs.2.03 guntas in Survey No.308 total admeasuring Acs.9.08 guntas, situated in Munipampala Village, Ramannapeta Mandal, Nalgonda District, shall be undertaken, in accordance with law.
