THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No.12294 OF 2023 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short "Cr.P.C") seeking to modify the bail order, dated 07.11.2023 passed in Crl.M.P.No.779 of 2023 in C.C.No.887 of 2023 by the Principal Junior Civil Judge-cumMetropolitan Magistrate, Medchal - Malkajgiri District at Kushaiguda.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondentState. Perused the record. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner/accused submits that the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal - Malkajgiri District granted bail to the petitioner/accused in Crl.M.P.No.779 of 2023 in C.C.No.887 of 2023 on a condition that the petitioner/accused shall execute a personal bond of Rs.20,000/- with two local sureties for the like sum. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner/accused was working as a labour and he has no means to provide said surety amount and prays to reduce the same.

Keeping in view of the above circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to reduce the said surety amount from Rs.20,000/- to Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) with two sureties, out of which one surety should be from his native place, for the likesum to the satisfaction of the learned Principal Junior Civil Judge-cum-Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal - Malkajgiri District, Kushaiguda. Further, the petitioner/accused shall appear before the trial Court, as and when required. 5.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
