In this Writ Petition, petitioners are challenging the proceedings dated 23.11.2015 of the second respondent asking the petitioners to show cause why they should not be removed as members of the third respondent - Fishermen Cooperative Society.

Counsel for the petitioners contends that pending consideration of the explanation of the petitioners, the respondents are not allowing the petitioners to catch fish even though as of date they are members of the third respondent- Fishermen Cooperative Society.

The learned Government Pleader for Fisheries appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 states that the respondents are not preventing the petitioners from catching fish.

The Writ Petition is therefore disposed of directing the petitioners to submit explanation to the notice dated 23.11.2015 received by them from the second respondent within 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with evidence to prove their residence in Chennuru Village and other details and the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders thereon within four weeks after receipt of the

petitioners' explanation. If the petitioners do not submit any explanation within the period aforesaid, it is open to the second respondent to proceed ex-parte in the matter. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
