HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8819 of 2018 ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent-State. For the 2nd respondent notice returned as unclaimed is sufficient service and taken as heard. 2.

Perused the entire material on record. A perusal of the record shows there is nothing to interfere with the cognizance order of the learned Magistrate from the police final report for the offence under Section 509 IPC. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner is seeking for direction to the trial Magistrate for early disposal of the case.

Having regard to the above, subject to other exigencies, the learned Magistrate, by virtue of this order, is directed to proceed with the trial of the matter and dispose of the same on merits, preferably within four months.

With the above observations, the criminal petition is disposed of.
