THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.37811 of 2015 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner was that her husband was not being released from prison despite the judgment dated 18.09.2015 rendered by the learned Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Tuni, East Godavari District, in C.C.No.296 of 2011, whereby the petitioner's husband was held entitled to set off the remand period under Section 428 Cr.P.C.

Sri R.Siva Sai Swaroop, learned counsel for the petitioner, informed this Court today that the petitioner's husband was released from prison on 09.12.2015 after giving effect to the aforestated judgment.

In the light of the above development, the grievance of the petitioner stands settled.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
