This writ petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus to set aside the proceedings No.1845/CPR&RE/B3/2017, dated 08.08.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Services.

Learned Government Pleader for Services has brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has alternate remedy of appeal under Rule 33 of CCA Rules and same is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. It is open for the petitioner to avail the alternate remedy of appeal, if he is so advised. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
