THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.15792 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' applications for the benefits bestowed by the 2nd respondent - Telangana State Backward Classes Co-operative Finance Corporation Limited under G.O.Ms.No.286, dated 29.09.2015, for the self-help scheme. The grievance of the petitioners is that under G.O.Ms.No.286, dated 29.09.2015, certain guidelines have been issued to encourage the Backward Class community people to be self employed, the petitioners approached the Banks and the respective Banks had considered and given consent for the petitioners to establish their respective business enterprises, which costs around Rs.1,00,000/- each. As a matter of fact, interviews were conducted by the District Collector, Warangal, the 3rd respondent, on 19.12.2015 and though the petitioners also made a representation to the District Collector, no further steps have been taken. Hence, the writ petition.

Heard learned counsel for both sides.

Having considered the fact that the interviews were already conducted by the District Collector, Warangal, the 3rd respondent, on 19.12.2015 and especially in view of the fact that the applications submitted by the petitioners are pending with the 2nd respondent, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the applications of the petitioners and take appropriate

steps subject to their satisfying the other criteria as laid down in G.O.Ms.No.286, dated 29.09.2015, and any other guidelines issued from time to time. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
