HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3224 of 2013 ORDER :

This criminal petition is filed by the petitioner/accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings in Crime No.39 of 2013 of Women Police Station, Rajahmundry, East Godavari District registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A r/w 34 I.P.C and Sections 3, 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2) It is represented by the learned Public Prosecutor that the parties compromised in the above crime and the compromise was recorded before the Lok Adalat and the present proceedings sought for against the F.I.R no way survives and as such the Criminal Petition becomes infructuous.

3) In the result, the Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
