THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.6742 of 2017 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed, by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 and 2, under Sections 437 and 439 of Cr.P.C., seeking regular bail in S.C.No.40 of 2016 on the file of the Court of the I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajahmundry, East Godavari District.

At the time of hearing, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners is to direct the trial Court to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case. The fact remains that the petitioners were arrested and produced before the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Tuni, on 15.02.2016.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also submitted that the investigation agency laid charge sheet before the I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajahmundry, and the same was numbered as S.C.No.40 of 2016.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajahmundry, East Godavari District, is hereby directed to dispose of S.C.No.40 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
