HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 29774 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself. 2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent Nos. 2 to 4 in not mutating the name of the petitioner in revenue records in respect of the land in Sy.No. 137/ 12 to an extent of Ac.8-00 situated at Chunchupally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, despite the petitioner's application dated 05.05.2018 under R.O.R. Act, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 300-A of the Constitution of India; and consequently direct the respondents to mutate the name of the petitioner and issue pattadar pass books and title deeds.

3) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the application made by the petitioner seeking necessary entries in the revenue records, which was sent by Registered Post with Acknowledgment Due and said to have been received by the Tahsildar, Chunchupally. 4) The Government Pleader for Revenue submits that if the petitioner has made a suitable application in Form-6A, the same will be considered in accordance with law.

5) Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to consider the application dated 05.05.2018 made by the petitioner, if it is made in Form No.VI-A and pass orders in accordance with law, if the petitioner is otherwise entitled to, as early as possible, preferably, within a period of twelve to fourteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
