ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondents 2 and 3 in not releasing the petitioner's car bearing No.AP 21 AY 9829 (Ford-Eco sport) seized pursuant to registration of Cr.No.302 of 2017 of Mydukuru (U/G) Police Station, YSR Kadapa District.

If the vehicle is seized pursuant to the forest offence and registration of the crime, it is for the petitioner to take appropriate steps seeking release of the vehicle, and by virtue of representation, seized vehicle cannot be released. The vehicle can be released only by following due process of law. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law seeking release of the seized vehicle. No costs.
