These Criminal Petitions are filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the respective petitioners to quash the proceedings against for the offences alleged against them under Sections 188, 270, 272, 273, 336 of IPC and Section 20(2) read with 7(2) of Cigarette and Tobacco Product Act 2003.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this case is squarely covered with the Common Order rendered by this Hon'ble Court in Criminal Petition Nos.6235 of 2022 and batch, dated 26.09.2022.

The petitioners - Accused are being prosecuted for the offences under Sections 270, 273 of IPC. This Court had repeatedly quashed the proceedings wherein tobacco products were found on the ground that the provisions under Sections 270, 273 of IPC are not attracted. This Court vide Crl.Petition Nos.6235 of 2022 and batch dated 26.09.2022 had quashed the proceedings against the Accused persons.

Resultantly, all the Criminal Petitions are allowed. The proceedings against the petitioners in respective cases are hereby quashed making common order copy of Crl.Petition No.6235 of 2022 and batch, dated 26.09.2022 as a part of this order.

Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
