HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.5696 of 2009 ORDER:

The impugned auction notice dated 05.03.2009 is for grant of leasehold rights for a period of two years i.e. 2009-10 and 2010-11. More than six years have since elapsed. It is evident, therefore, that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court, and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
