HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.29828 OF 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the 4th respondent in not mutating the name of the petitioner in the revenue records as per the registered document No.6475/2009 in respect of the land in Sy.No.116/k admeasuring Ac.1.00 guntas situated at Dharur Village & Mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal District, as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 23.01.2018, vide proceedings No.D1/120/2018, the District Magistrate, Jogulamba Gadwal directed Tahsildar-3rd respondent to take necessary action on the application filed by the petitioner for mutation of his name in the revenue records as per rules and to furnish the report as to what action has been taken.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue on instructions submits that subsequent to withdrawal of O.S.No.74/2009, another suit came to be filed by one Pedda Dareppa against Maddamma, Saroja and Manyamkonda and the same is pending. In view of the same, the respondent authorities are unable to take action.

Be that as it may, since the application is made seeking mutation, the authorities shall deal with the same in accordance with the provisions of law, and pass appropriate

order thereon as early as possible preferably within a period of three months from today.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand closed.
