When this matter was listed on 22.09.2017 for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner/Accused nor was made representation on his behalf. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed to 23.10.2017 finally. To day also, though the matter is posted finally, none appeared for the petitioner nor is made representation on his behalf. It thus reflects that the petitioner/accused has no interest to proceed further with the matter. In the circumstances, this Court has no option except to dismiss the criminal petition for non prosecution.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution while vacating the interim stay granted by this Court on 06.09.2011 in Crl.P.M.P.No.8510 of 2011.
