COMMON ORDER:

It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned standing counsel for the respondents that all the above writ petitions are covered by common order of this Court passed in W.P.No.37713 of 2014 and batch, dated 26-08-2015. But, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that in the common order passed on 26-08-2015, the petitioners were asked to pay half of the additional consumption deposit amount demanded by the respondents, which shall be refunded to the petitioners as soon as the pre-paid meters are installed. In the instant batch of writ petitions, by virtue of the interim order passed by this Court, the petitioners paid 50% of the amount demanded in cash and balance 50% of the amount by bank guarantee. In view of final orders passed in W.P.No.

37713 of 2014 and batch, dated 26-08-2015, the petitioners requested for return of the bank guarantee furnished towards balance amount by virtue of the interim order. In view of final orders passed earlier, it is needless to say that the respondents shall return the bank guarantee furnished by the petitioners wherever they were furnished pursuant to the interim order within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. Accordingly, the writ petitions are allowed to the extent indicated above. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed.
