This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to modify the order dated 16-04-2018 in Criminal M.P.No. 1030 of 2018 on the file of the Court of VII Additional Judicial I Class Magistrate, Rajahmundry, East Godavari District (for short, 'the Court below'). 2.

The petitioner filed the abovementioned M.P. before the Court below for interim custody of Oil Tanker bearing registration No. AP 31 W 9389 along with black oil therein involved in crime No. 20 of 2018 of Bommuru Police Station, East Godavari District. The Court below by order dated 16-04-2018 allowed the M.P. and ordered interim custody of the vehicle along with black oil therein subject to the petitioner executing a bond for Rs.5,00,000/- with one surety for the like sum. Feeling aggrieved by the condition to execute bond for Rs.5,00,000/- with one surety, the present petition is filed. 3.

The value of the vehicle with black oil no doubt will be more than Rs.5,00,000/- and therefore insisting the petitioner to execute bond for Rs.5,00,000/- with one surety is not onerous. I find no merit in the petition and the same deserves to be dismissed.

The criminal petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this criminal petition shall stand dismissed in consequence. _____________________________ Date: 23-08-2018.
