This writ petition is filed challenging the inaction of respondents in considering the representation dated 13-11-2017 for removal of entry of the name of petitioner from the suspect sheet in the 3rd respondent-police station. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home says that the petitioner already made representation in respect of his grievance in the writ petition. All the crimes which were registered against the petitioner were investigated into and after trial, he was acquitted.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This Court had an occasion to deal with the similar issue in W.P.No.38487 of 2017 dated 15-11-2017, relying on other judgments of this Court gave liberty to the petitioner therein to file explanation/representation within two weeks from the date of said order and the competent authority was directed to examine the same and pass appropriate orders. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of learned counsel, this writ petition is also disposed of. Since the representation of the petitioner is already pending before the competent authority, the said authority is directed to examine the said representation in the light of the law laid down by this court in W.P.No.4688 of 2012, which was disposed of on 16.03.2017 and in the judgments reported in SUNKARA SATYANARAYANA v. STATE OF
ANDHRAPRADESH1 and B.SATYANARAYANA REDDY v.
STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH2 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
