Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for learned Government Pleader for Forests for respondents. 2.

Petitioner was placed under suspension by order dated 17.02.2018. The further continuation of suspension was reviewed and by order dated 10.08.2018 a decision was taken to continue the petitioner under suspension. The said decision is under challenge in this writ petition.

During the course of hearing learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that on 12.06.2018 a charge memo was drawn; petitioner submitted his explanation on 20.07.2018 and on 23.07.2018 Enquiry Officer was appointed and Enquiry proceedings are initiated against five officers including the petitioner. According to learned Assistant Government Pleader the charges leveled are grave and therefore, the decision to further continue the petitioner under suspension is taken. 4.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that some time frame may be fixed for completing the enquiry. 5.

Having regard to the fact that five officers are involved, the respondents are directed to complete the enquiry by following the due procedure as laid down in Telangana State Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991, within six (6) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If the enquiry

- 3 - cannot be completed within the time fixed by this Court, for the reasons not attributable to the petitioner, the desirability of further continuation of suspension may be reviewed.
