O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent - police authorities are not registering the crime based on his complaint dated 28.07.2018 and taking action in accordance with law.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that based on the complaint of the petitioner, G.D. entry was made and enquiry revealed that contents of the complaint are false and baseless and accordingly notice dated 25.08.2018 was served on the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though serious allegations are made in the complaint, without properly enquiring into the allegations, above said notice dated 25.08.2018 was sent to the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that, following the guidelines laid down by Apex Court in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1, complaint of the petitioner was enquired into and result of the same was intimated to the petitioner vide notice dated 25.08.2018. Recording the statement made in the written instructions, writ petition is disposed of, giving liberty to the petitioner to avail alternative remedies available under law.
