Aggrieved by the inaction of the 4th respondent - Station House Officer, Bommuru Police Station, Rajamahendravaram, East Godavari District, in conducting investigation in FIR/ Cr.No.402 of 2017, the complainant and her son, filed the present writ petition. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Sub Inspector of Police, Bommuru Police Station, Rajamahendravaram Uraban Division, dated 10.09.2018, stating that investigation revealed that allegations of the petitioners' are civil in nature and for proving the identity, parties were required to produce relevant documents, but they have not produced and investigation is not yet completed, and that after completion of investigation, final report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. will be filed before the court.
Recording the above statement, writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to complete the investigation, as expeditiously as possible, and file report before the court concerned, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
