THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.30183 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleaders for Mines & Geology and Revenue appearing for the respondents.

The alleged inaction, on the part of respondent Nos.2 and 3, in processing the application, dated 21.01.2018, submitted by the petitioner herein for grant of quarry lease for Limestone Slabs (Black) over an extent of 2.500 Hectares in Sy.Nos.50 and 55 of Belum Village, Kolimigundla Mandal, Kurnool District, is under challenge in the present Writ Petition.

During the course of arguments, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner herein that, despite submission of 'No Objection Certificate' by the Tahsildar, Kolimigundla Mandal-fourth respondent herein, to the office of the Assistant Director of Mines & Geology, Banaganapalle, Kurnool District-third respondent herein, the respondent authorities are not taking action in the direction of granting lease in favour of the petitioner herein.

At the hearing it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that, earlier the application of the petitioner herein was forwarded to the office of the Deputy Director of Mines & Geology, Kurnool-second respondent

herein on 27.07.2018 and the same was returned by the office of the second respondent with certain objections and the objections have now been complied with and the respondent authorities are processing the application further. Recording the above submission, Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents herein to complete the process and pass final orders on the quarry lease application, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein on 21.01.2018, as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
