THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.2094 of 2015 ORDER:

This contempt case was instituted alleging wilful disobedience to the order dated 10.04.2015 passed by this Court in so far as it pertains to W.P.No.11073 of 2012. By the said common order passed in a batch of cases, this Court directed the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to consider the proposal of Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, to implement the pay scales of RPS 2010 for ad hoc employees also as they had been extended the benefit of RPS 2005. The petitioner is a resident of Vijayawada, Krishna District, and implementation of the said order had to be by the State of Andhra Pradesh, in so far as he was concerned.

The Special Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, filed a counter-affidavit stating that letter dated 30.05.2018 was addressed by the Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department, Andhra Pradesh, according permission to the University to consider the request of the ad hoc employees for implementation of Revised Pay Scales 2010 and 2015 and to incur an approximate expenditure of Rs.93,27,876/- towards payment of such ad hoc employees' salaries.

In the light of the aforestated averment in the counter-affidavit, it is clear that the order passed by this Court has been duly acted upon. The contempt case is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs. ____________________ JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR Date:06.07.2018 GJ
