THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.21810 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in harassing and threatening the petitioners to sell their agricultural land in Survey No.247 admeasuring Acs.14.31 guntas, situated at Rangapuram Village, Kodakandla Mandal, Jangaon District, to respondent No.7, for the purpose of establishing Solar unit, as illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent police are harassing the petitioners to sell their land situated in Survey No.247 admeasuring Acs.14.31 guntas, situated at Rangapuram Village, Kodakandla Mandal, Jangaon District and pursuant thereto calling them to the police station. 4.

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, denies the allegations made in the writ affidavit. He submits that the allegation of respondent Nos.5 and 6 interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioners is false.

However having regard to the circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent Nos.5 and 6 not to interfere with the personal life and liberty of the petitioners, without following the procedure established by law. However, if the respondent police

CPK, J W.P.No.21810 of 2017 intend to take any action against the petitioners, the same shall be in accordance with law. No costs.

As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
