The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to declare the action of the 3rd and 4th respondents not providing police protection based on the petitioners' representations dated 18-12-2016 and 19-12-2016 as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct respondents 3 and 4 to provide police protection to petitioners' land in Sy.No.148/2 to an extent of Ac.7.48 cents situated at Kothumalmaharajapuram Village, Karvet Nagaram Mandal of Chittoor District forthwith.

Heard and perused the material available on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, respondents 3 and 4 are directed to consider the petitioners' representations dated 18-122016 and 19-12-2016 and pass appropriate orders. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
