ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 4th respondent in not releasing the bill for the works completed by the petitioner in spite of the directions issued by the 3rd respondent, as arbitrary and illegal.

A counter-affidavit is filed on behalf of respondents 2 to 4, wherein it is stated that the petitioner was advised to submit proper documents including the work order for external painting, certificate of work completion by the monitoring committee with required bill and measurement details to settle the issue. However, the petitioner instead of submitting the required documents, approached this Court.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that though there was no work order for external painting, the work relating to the external painting was got done through the petitioner and hence there cannot be any work order for the same. However, the petitioner has to submit necessary proof and bill for the amount claimed by him and on perusal of the same, the payment would be made.

In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to submit the required documents for settlement of the amount within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On submission of

such documents, the respondents shall pay the amount within four weeks thereafter.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. ___________________________________ JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO 2nd February, 2017 rkk
