There was no representation for the petitioners since from 25-07-2011 when the matter underwent several adjournments. On 02-06-2015 when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners and the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal". Even today also, though the matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal", there is no representation for the petitioners when the matter is called on for hearing either in the morning session or the afternoon session. It indicates that the petitioner is not in diligence in prosecuting the matter effectively. Therefore, this court is

left with no option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
