HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No. 18335 of 2015 ORAL ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development (TS) and Smt Pingali Lakshmi, learned standing counsel for second respondent and with their consent the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission.
Petitioner claims to be owner and possessor of land admeasuring 500 square yards including H No. 9/564, Girmajipet, Warangal having purchased the same under a registered sale deed dated 8.4.1993. The sole grievance of the petitioner is that during the computerization of the municipal records, instead of entering his name, the second respondent is trying to enter the names of members of Muthineni family as owners of the subject property and that he made a representation on 5.7.2013, but the same is still pending and no orders are passed thereon. Hence, the writ petition.
Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 5.7.2013 expeditiously and learned standing counsel for second respondent agreed for the same.
In the circumstances, without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representation of petitioner dated 5.7.2013 and after affording reasonable opportunity to all the concerned, pass appropriate orders as warranted by law expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed. ______________ P NAVEEN RAO,J DATE:4.8.2015 TVK HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO
