This Habeas Corpus petition is filed by B.Nageswara Raju, who is 50 years old, seeking production of Shabana Begum alleging her illegal detention by the respondents. Shabana Begum is hardly 23 years old girl. Petitioner is Hindu, whereas Shabana Begum is Muslim. Though petitioner claims that he married Shabana Begum, he does not have any proof of marriage. On the other hand, it appears that Shabana Begum approached the Collector on her own, who accommodated her in State Home at Mettugadda, Mahaboobnagar.

2. Mr. A.Sanjeev Kumar, learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that she is absolutely safe and secure in the State Home and she is there of her own wish. We do not find any substance in the writ petition. The petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending shall stand dismissed. No costs.
