- 2 - THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1042 OF 2017 ORDER :

This contempt case is filed to punish the respondents for wilful violation and deliberatel disobeying the order of this Court in W.P.No.37643 of 2016 dated 03.11.2016.

W.P.No.37643 of 2016 was disposed of by order dated 03.11.2016 directing the Government to consider and pass appropriate orders in the Revision filed by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. Alleging violation of the said order and not passing orders on the revision, this Contempt is filed.

Along with the counter affidavit filed by the 3rd respondent, the decision of the Government dated 23.02.2017 is filed. Through this decision the Government passed orders on the revision preferred by the petitioner rejecting the claim made in the Revision petition. This Court is also informed that aggrieved by the said rejection, petitioner filed W.P.No.9598 of 2017. 4.

Since orders are already passed as directed by this Court, no case is made out for initiation of proceedings of contempt under the Contempt of Courts Act.

Thus, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedies in W.P.No.9598 of 2017, this Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

- 3 - Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
