The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondentpolice are not taking action on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 26-07-2018 inspite of contents of the same disclose the commission of cognizable offence. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on instructions submits that they will take action on the complaint lodged by the petitioner in terms of guidelines laid down in the judgment in Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-police to take action on the complaint lodged by the petitioner in terms of guidelines laid down in the Apex Court judgment of Lalitha Kumari's case as cited supra.
