HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 12992 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A.1 & A2 seek to quash the proceedings in CC No. 142 of 2013 on the file of XVII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Sections 420 & 406 IPC (FIR No. 166/2011 of Golconda Police Station, Hyderabad). 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the case status information in respect of CC No. 142 of 2013 on the file of XVII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 8.11.2016 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 142 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
