HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 30873 of 2012 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents 1 to 3 in not disposing of the representation dated 03.04.2012 made by the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though he made a representation dated 03.04.2012 to the 1st respondent seeking verification of members in the 4th respondent Society and issuance of a certificate showing the strength of the real members, no orders are passed thereon till date. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 03.04.2012 made by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to either parties, if the same is still pending consideration, at the earliest. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in the writ petition shall stand dismissed.
