O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent - police authorities are not registering the crime based on his complaint dated 30.07.2018 and taking action in accordance with law.
On the last date of adjournment on 18.09.2018, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submitted that the 4th respondent - Station House Officer, Adibatla Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate, State of Telangana, Hyderabad, has not received the complaint stated to have been made by the petitioner. In view of the said representation, learned counsel for the petitioner sent the copy of the complaint dated 30.07.2018 to the 4th respondent by registered post on 22.09.2019 and filed postal receipt. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, writ petition is disposed of directing the police authorities to follow the guidelines laid down by Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1, and take appropriate action in accordance with law on the complaint dated 30.07.2018 stated to have been made by the petitioner.
