Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Home for the State of Andhra Pradesh. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, declaring the action of the 4th respondent in interfering with petitioners' life and liberty without any authority of law as highly illegal and arbitrary and consequently, direct the 4th respondent not to interfere with petitioners' life and liberty. 3.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the police are interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioners without following due process of law.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on oral instructions, submits that some other persons are involved in Crime No.103 of 2017 of Mogalthur Police Station registered for the offence punishable under Section 307 read with IPC and since the said crime requires investigation, fetters cannot be imposed on police while conducting investigation.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents - police to conduct investigation in Crime No.103 of 2017 of Mogalthur Police Station, in accordance with law, but however, if they intend to summon the petitioners to the police station, it shall be in accordance with the procedure established by law.
