Aggrieved by the inaction of the 3rd respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer in disposing of the appeal filed by the petitioner against the resumption order passed by the 4th respondent in Ref.No.B/ 333/ 2011 dated 20.10.2011, the present writ petition has been filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Having regard to facts and circumstances and submissions of the learned counsel, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner against the resumption proceedings of the 4th respondent dated 20.10.2011, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
