O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioner is that the 3rd respondent - Station House Officer, Pamidi Police Station, Pamidi, Ananthapuramu District, is not registering the crime based on his complaint dated 12.08.2018 and taking action in accordance with law.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions of the 3rd respondent stated that the based on the complaint of the petitioner, entry was made in the general diary on 20.08.2018 and thereafter, the petitioner was called to police station to record his statement, but he did not turn up, on the ground that he was under treatment for ill health. Unofficial respondents 4 to 7 were called to the police station and they stated that civil dispute in O.S.No.8 of 2017 is pending on the court of Junior Civil Judge, Gooty. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, writ petition is disposed of directing the police authorities to follow the guidelines laid down by Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1, and take appropriate action in accordance with law on the complaint of the petitioner dated 12.08.2018.
