ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not passing order on application, dated 26.3.2009, of the petitioners for release of the seized stocks to them, as illegal and arbitrary. A perusal of the proceeding sheet shows that on 31.3.2009, this Court has granted interim direction to the respondents to release the seized stock of 180.80 quintals of paddy, 110.50 quintals of rice and 3 quintals of broken rice to the petitioners, subject to their furnishing third party immovable security for the value of the goods seized to the satisfaction of respondent No.1. Mr. Balaji Medamalli, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that in pursuance of the abovementioned interim order, the respondents have released the seized stocks to the petitioners.

In the light of these facts, as the Writ Petition has outlived its purpose, the same is dismissed as

infructuous.
