THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.6602 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

"to issue writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents for not sending the petitioner for the training for the post of conductor even after depositing Rs. 2500/- vide receipt No.7/355755 dated 16.12.2011 after his selection for the above post and consequently not appointing the petitioner for the said post as illegal, unjust, discriminatory and in violation of Art.14, 16 & 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently the petitioner pray this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to send him for the training for the post of conductor and appoint the petitioner for the post of conductor along with all consequential benefits in the interest of justice and fair play."

Heard Sri V. Narasimha Goud, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri N. Vasudeva Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner herein submitted a representation on 2111-2015 to the 2nd respondent herein and no orders have been passed on the said representation so far. A request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 21-11-2015, in accordance with law, by fixing some timeframe. The said request is not opposed by the other side.

For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter and entitlement of the petitioner, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 21-11-2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
