When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that since the case ended in acquittal on 23.10.2016 in C.C.No.322 of 2016, the cause in the criminal petition does not survive for adjudication and the criminal petition has become infructuous.

Recording the said submission, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
