At the outset, Mr. K. Ashok Reddy, learned counsel for respondent No.21 submits that this writ appeal has rendered infructuous in view of the subsequent development, namely, completing the process of selection and appointing all the selected candidates. Having confronted with this, learned counsel for the appellants prays for disposal of this writ appeal with direction to hear and decide the writ petition within time frame. Writ appeal is disposed of as rendered infructuous. It is not possible for this Court to issue any direction as prayed for by learned counsel for the appellants for disposal of the writ petition within time frame. However, we request the learned Judge to consider the application, if any filed by the appellants, for expeditious hearing of the writ petition sympathetically. All contentions on merits are kept open.
