THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.9018 of 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code questioning the order dated 06.07.2018 passed in Crl.M.P.No.87 of 2018 in M.C.No.19 of 2018 by the Judge, Family Court, Khammam, whereby the Judge granted interim maintenance @ Rs.10,000/- per month each of the 1st and 2nd respondents herein, on various grounds.

During hearing learned counsel for the petitioner requested the Court to grant time for payment of arrears while directing the Judge to dispose of the maintenance case as expeditiously as possible fixing specific time.

In view of the request made by learned counsel for the petitioner, without touching the merits of the case, I deem it appropriate to direct the Judge to dispose of M.C.No.19 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible in any event not later than six months. Time for payment of arrears is extended for a period of two months from today.

With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
