THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.9320 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short "Cr.P.C.") to quash the Crime/FIR No.34 of 2018 on the file of the Women Police Station, Adilabad, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short "I.P.C.") and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 (For short 'Act, 1961).

Sri Mohd. Farimuddin, learned counsel for the petitioners after arguing the matter for sometime, requested this Court to direct the Court below to follow the guidelines formulated by the Apex Court in "Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P.1"

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, without touching the merits, I find that it is a fit case to issue direction to the Court concerned to follow the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in "Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P." (referred supra). Accordingly, Court concerned is directed to adhere to the guidelines issued in "Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P." (referred supra). With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
