Petitioner's grievance is that petitioner had given a representation on 17.02.2016 to refer petitioner's claim for enhancement of compensation as per the provisions of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short 'the Act') to the 2nd respondent but the 2nd respondent has not taken any action thereon.

The Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for respondents 2 to 4 states that 2nd respondent will make the reference under Section 64 of the Act to the Competent Authority within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the said submissions, this Writ Petition is allowed directing the 2nd respondent to make reference of the petitioner's case for enhancement of compensation under Section 64 of the Act to the Competent Authority within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
