This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioners/Accused Nos.l and 2 seeking quash of the proceedings against them in C.C.No.224 of 2021, pending on the file of learned Junior Civil Judge, Bhainsa registered for the offences under Sections 290, 324,325 and 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short, 'the I.P.C.').

Heard Mr.Kiran Palakurthi, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri S.Ganesh, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor I t for the respondent No.1 - State. Perused the record. ( I

During the course of arguments, Iearned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the trial has also commenced but the evidence of witnesses has to be recorded and that L.Ws.l and 2 are not cooperating with the trial only to see that one of the accused who has been selected as Sub Inspector is not

TMD, J Crl P No.12562 oa 2023 appointed. He prayed this Court to direct the trial Court to expedite the Trial in c.c.No.224 of 2021'

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it fit and proper to direct the trial Court to conclude the proceedings in C'C'No'224 of 2021 expeditiously, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order'

5. With the above observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
