Sri Gadi Ramachandra Reddy, learned counsel for the appellantICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited, addressed a letter dated 06.03.2017 to the Registry stating that the appellant filed MACMA No.153 of 2012 against MVOP No.517 of 2009 on the file of III Additional District Judge, Kakinada, and obtained interim stay on 31.01.2012 subject to depositing 50% of the decretal amount, and the amount was deposited before the Tribunal. The learned counsel further stated in his letter that the insurance company has decided to withdraw the appeal as the case has already been settled between the parties, and requested the Registry to post the appeal under 'For Withdrawal' caption. 2.

In view of the above, the appellant is permitted to withdraw the appeal.
