This petition is filed under Section Cr.P.C.

by the petitioner/respondent seeking to quash the proceedings dated 20.08.2014 in Crl.R.C.No.21 of 2014 on the file of I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srikakulam.

At the time of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has sought permission of this Court to permit the petitioner to withdraw the criminal petition. He further submitted that the trial Court may be directed to dispose of M.C.No.23 of 2013 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Rajam. Permission is granted.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Rajam, is hereby directed to dispose of M.C.No.23 of 2013 as early as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
